Tips for Becoming Our Favorite Developer

  • Use Celoxis to anticipate deadlines and plan your workflow.
  • Ask questions before the deadline.
  • Be the “director” of the online draft. Bring the narration to life!
  • Load your authoring tool file to Egnyte at the end of every work session.
  • Use the versioning convention to name your file properly.
  • Call out concerns about the number of hours assigned to you as soon as you become aware of them.
  • Meet the deadline provided by the management team.
  • Use the Checkout Master to check files in and out and to record version numbers and active links—every time!
  • Make edits in the authoring tool, and then verify them in a browser—every time!
  • Use only made, verified, or Note from Developer in the Status column. 
  • Use images from approved sources: Artisan’s Getty subscription, the Articulate Content Library, or a client-specific source.
  • Use only system fonts unless approved by the management team.
  • Load drafts for review to Artisan’s FTP.
  • When a development task is complete, load your published files to Egnyte (Published Files/Drafts).
  • Log your time accurately on Celoxis at the end of every work period.
  • Stay on top of new authoring tool features and design trends.
